SOLDIERS OF HOLY ROSARY (SHR) is a world-wide spiritual association of the Catholic Church, the members of which strive to pray the Holy Rosary during the course of each day. Each member who strives to pray the complete rosary of 20 mysteries (Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful and Glorious) on first Saturdays of every month and on the feast days of Mother Mary, become a Soldier of the Holy Rosary.
These soldiers in each Parish should gather to recite the complete rosary on first Saturdays of every month, to pray for their respective Parish Priests, all the parishioners and for SHR members worldwide. It concludes with prayers for the Holy Father’s intentions.
Soldiers of Holy Rosary has its presence in different parts of India, UAE, Europe, Philippines, Malaysia, Canada, Kuwait and USA. It is headquartered in St Mary’s Catholic Church - Dubai, who gathers every day (except Friday) to recite the complete rosary as per the official prayer book of SHR, which can be downloaded from this website.
As Pope Leo XIII said in his encyclical on the Confraternity, "whenever a person fulfils his obligation of reciting the Rosary according to the rule of the Confraternity, he includes in his intentions all its members, and they in turn render him the same service many times over."
